1.DDU-GKY

The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) announced the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalaya Yojana on Antyodaya Diwas, 25th September. DDU –GKY is a part of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), tasked with the dual objectives of adding diversity to the incomes of rural poor families and cater to the career aspirants of rural youth, Cradle implements this project in Chhattisgarh in two districts-

1.Bilaspur

2.Durg

We are running four trades in both the centres i.e,

1.Fabrication – Arc & Gas Welding

2.Retails Sales Management

3.Office Assistant and

4.Hotel & Hospitality Management

Our main focus is in skilling the youths and trying to give them an initiative through livelihood according to Govt. of India norms.


2.PMKVY

The Union Cabinet had approved India’s largest Skill Certification Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) on 20 March, 2015. The Scheme was subsequently launched on 15 July, 2015, on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day by Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi

Owing to the its successful first year of implementation, the Union Cabinet has approved the Scheme for another four years (2016-2020) to impart skilling to 10 million youth of the country. Cradle has implemented this program in 4 states all over the India. They are-

1.Bihar

2.Jharkhand

Chhattisgarh

Rajshtan

3.BSDM

Bihar Skill Development Mission (BSDM) was constituted in the year 2010 with the vision to increase the capacity & capability of the system to deliver quality skill training and professional knowledge to the youth to enhance their employability and bridge the skill deficit with a view to meet the growing demand for skilled manpower.

As this project is specially designed only for Bihar state so Cradle has implemented it in 3 districts with 7 centres i.e,

1.East Champaran

2.West Champaran

3.Siwan and

4.Shekhpura

4.NBCFDC

NBCFDC is focusing on Other Backward Caste community to provide them good livelihood opportunities either by providing jobs in industries or by self-employment. NBCFDC provides financial assistance through State Channelizing Agencies (SCAs) nominated by the State Government/UTs.

Cradle is organizing this program in Bihar with the valuable support of Furniture & Fitting Skill Council of India (FFSC). We had successfully completed our first phase.

We are trying to add more Sector Skill Councils and recently joined hand with Beauty and Wellness Sector Skill Council of India (BWSSC). We hope that we will spread our self in future also.
